Message from the Administration

Welcome to Egyptian Community Unit School District #5. We are a community that works together to enable our students to rise to their greatest abilities.

At Egyptian CUSD #5, we set high academic and behavior expectations. We provide a challenging educational program for every student, while building a sense of positive self worth essential to academic and social success. As parents and teachers, it is up to us to provide the best possible education in an ever changing world. We have to prepare our children for a life of constant change and they need the skills to be able to do this. Parents, teachers and administrators must work together in order to achieve this goal - the best learning environment for our children.

Egyptian is a great place to learn. The staff is energetic, hard-working and creative. They work together as a team and are constantly sharing and learning. We have a talented teaching staff that show their commitment to teaching through effective methodologies, professional development and infusion of technology. We continue to educate students who are ready for the 21st century and able to compete as global leaders.
