Mistflower

Flat topped clusters of fuzzy flowers. Leaves paired, arrow-shaped. Located in Southern Illinois.

Sneezeweed  this  flower is found near swamps and wet meadows.  This wild flower blooms between Aug-Oct. 

                    prairie Golden_ Aster

Similar to Maryland  Golden aster but western. Smaller leaves very variable six to four in. Other Golden asters are found in the western parts of our area. Sandy prairies, barrens.  Wisconsin to w. Indiana, e. Missouri. these flowers bloom in July_ Oct.

similar to Lady's thumb but stems are are usually green
