The veering path is one of the experiments that we did. We went on a field trip to Horseshoe Lake and did this experiment. We had to put a blindfold over our eyes and try to walk a line that was 15 meters long. We predicted how far we would go off the line. A person would follow and drop a marker every few feet were we went off the line. This distance was measured and data was gathered. |
| The second try we had to spin around five times and still
with the blindfold on try to walk the line again to see if any of the off
line distances changed.
Everyone trying this experiment was right handed except one. |

Some of the kids had lines out in the grass. It was harder to keep the line straight because it was made of rope. |
